Innovactory wants to make young talent from Almere enthusiastic about ICT and makes them aware of the possibilities of ICT in mobility. That is why Innovactory recently started the project ‘ICT in de Wolken‘.
‘ICT in de Wolken’ is a program for young talent from Almere with a strong interest in ICT. The educational institutions work closely with Almere ICT companies, such as Innovactory. During 8 weeks, students work on a project case and learn more about programming, informatics, ICT and the development of apps.
Under the guidance of Innovactory, the students will design and develop their own app during the project. This app should offer travel solutions that are smarter, more sustainable or cheaper. With this project, Innovactory aims to make young talent from Almere aware of mobility issues and to introduce them to the world of mobility apps and the principles of MaaS (Mobility as a Service). The students will also learn how to make use of open mobility data.
Not only does Innovactory make a contribution to corporate social responsibility. With this project, Innovactory gains interesting mobility insights from a young generation.
The project is now in full swing. On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, the young Almere ICT talents from secondary education will present the results of the project.
