Future in Mobility
We at Innovactory believe that future mobility is going to be shaped by global megatrends like urbanization, pollution, congestion and connectivity. These trends will revolutionize the way we currently look at mobility and personal mobility in particular. It’s going to change the entire way how we travel from A to B and that change will be creating a whole new ecosystem of personal mobility. It’s an opportunity to improve the way people move, both for the individual and for society.
Support Travellers
We at Innovactory are going to support travellers around the world during their daily commute, frequent trips and journeys to every destination. We believe that people across the globe can benefit from proactive, context aware messages from mobile personal assistants in the palm of their hand.
Perfect Travel assistant
We at Innovactory created TimesUpp that transforms a user’s calendar into the perfect travel assistant. TimesUpp has proven to be a successful instrument to influence car drivers. It’s a tool, which helps drivers to find smarter alternative routes and seduce them to postpone their trips during congestion periods or make use of alternative transport means. The result: happy customers and a better distribution of traffic, which leads to less congestion.

The CO2 Performance Ladder
Across the globe actions are being taken to stop global warming. The emission of greenhouse gases must be reduced significantly. Car mobility delivers a big contribution to this warming. We must radically change the way we deal with mobility. We need to change the entire way how we travel from A to B and that change will be creating a whole new ecosystem of personal mobility.
Since our foundation in 2013, we have been committed to making the travel behaviour of our users more sustainable with the development of our smart travel assistant TimesUpp. Already more than 100,000 people have installed TimesUpp in recent years and have been supported to travel smarter. Our App appears to have a large number of behaviour-changing properties that regularly encourage our users to choose a more environmentally friendly solution.
In 2017, our users once again made a major contribution to our objectives to reduce the amount of CO2 emissions. The four incentive programs that we have carried out together with our clients, we have prevented more than 250,000 car trips from being executed. This has resulted in a CO2 saving of almost 650 tons!
Of course, we ourselves as an organization are at the forefront of limiting our own emissions considerably. We have taken a large number of measures and make it possible for our employees to make a contribution here. Almost all employees’ work at least 2 days a week from home and commuter traffic is in principle carried out by bicycle and/or public transport. This attitude has ensured that we, as one of the first organizations in the Netherlands, already received the Lean & Green Star Award in 2014.
In 2017 we again achieved our reduction targets and we have achieved the following footprint:
Scope | Emissions | |
1. Work traffic hybrid cars + natural gas | 2,92 tons CO2 | 35,9% |
2. Power consumption | 0,55 tons CO2 | 6,8% |
3. Commuter traffic & public transport | 4,66 tons CO2 | 57,3% |
TOTAL | 8,13 tons CO2 |
Our reduction target for 2018 is to reduce our emissions by 4% compared to 2017. We intend to achieve this mainly through good example travel behaviour of our own employees. Our App TimesUpp is a great tool for this and our employees also actively participate in the behavioural change programs of which we have special business versions operational.
In addition to our own employees, TimesUpp will especially help our existing and new users to reduce their CO2 emissions. In 2018 we are introducing a greatly improved version with a large number of new features, which will help us to realize even more desirable behaviour then ever before. We expect that together with our users we will save at least 750 tons of CO2 by 2018.
